Advisory Board

In the second half of 2024 we are setting up an Advisory Board which helps guide the strategic vision and longer-term plans for the Untraceable University. The board is expected to meet once every quarter with the executive team, where a quarterly progress report is shared and the board is expected to provide input around progress made, challenges identified, and other guidance as they see fit.

We are seeking between 5-8 people to form our Advisory Board. Each board member is requested to participate in the following ways:

  • To actively participate during the quarterly meetings
  • To leverage their own professional network and connect the Untraceable University executive team and where relevant our Thematic Action Committees with relevant people and organisations that might either not yet be on our radar or that are hard to get hold of.

We estimate that the time commitment to this role is about 1 day per quarter. We are seeking experienced academics, practitioners, activists, or others that have a long trajectory working on topics that have a high relevance to our project. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of our work, we seek to balance the Advisory Committee to include people from a variety of backgrounds. In line with our Guiding Principles, we seek a strong participation from the Global South, but we also welcome people from the Global North that might increase the network and reach of the board.

Quarterly meetings will take place in English and/or Spanish, and board members are expected to be fluent in either of these languages. Being fluent in both is a plus.
